Quick Care Summary

• Lighting: Low to moderate lighting
• Flow: Low to moderate varied flow
• Placement: Lower to middle reef areas
• Temperament: Generally peaceful but can spread
• Care Level: Beginner to Moderate

Lighting

Provide low to moderate lighting. Acclimate gradually when moving it into brighter conditions, then observe polyp response and adjust placement if needed.

Flow

Use low to moderate, varied flow. Gentle changing movement helps keep the colony clear without subjecting it to constant direct current.

Placement

Place it in lower to middle reef areas. Start with a stable location and acclimate lighting gradually before making major placement changes.

Temperament

Keep an eye on spreading as the colony establishes. Zoanthids are generally peaceful, but leave room around neighboring corals so expansion does not create unwanted contact.

Feeding

Feeding is usually optional. Some colonies accept fine foods, which can be offered selectively while maintaining clean, stable reef conditions.

General Care

Maintain stable reef conditions and observe the colony regularly for changes in polyp extension or placement needs. Handle zoanthids carefully, using appropriate eye and skin protection during mounting, moving, or maintenance.
