Quick Care Summary

• Lighting: Low to moderate lighting
• Flow: Low to moderate varied flow
• Placement: Lower to middle reef areas
• Temperament: Generally peaceful but can spread
• Care Level: Beginner to Moderate

Lighting

Provide low to moderate lighting, then acclimate gradually to its final intensity. Avoid sudden lighting changes and observe the colony’s response as it settles in.

Flow

Use low to moderate, varied flow. Gentle changing movement helps keep the colony clear without subjecting it to a constant direct blast.

Placement

Place it in lower to middle reef areas. Begin in a suitable lower-light location and adjust gradually only after it has acclimated.

Temperament

Allow room for it to spread over time. Zoanthids are generally peaceful, but planned spacing helps keep growth from reaching neighboring corals.

Feeding

Feeding is usually optional. Some colonies may accept fine foods, but stable reef conditions remain the main priority.

General Care

Maintain stable reef conditions and make changes gradually. Watch for normal opening and overall response after placement or lighting adjustments. Handle zoanthids carefully, using appropriate eye and skin protection during fragging, moving, or maintenance.

Give this zoanthid room to settle and monitor its spread as it grows.
