Yoda Acropora Coral

Yoda Acropora Coral - Care Requirements

Yoda Acropora Coral is an Acropora small-polyp stony coral with advanced SPS care requirements. This WYSIWYG Acropora is suited to established reef systems that can provide the strong lighting, turbulent circulation, and consistent conditions expected by SPS corals.

This is a WYSIWYG coral, meaning the coral shown in the photo is the exact piece you will receive.

Quick Care Summary

• Lighting: Strong reef lighting
• Flow: Strong, random and turbulent flow
• Placement: Middle to upper reef areas after acclimation
• Temperament: Generally peaceful but space for growth
• Care Level: Advanced

Lighting

Provide strong reef lighting and acclimate gradually to its final intensity. Consistent lighting helps this Acropora settle without unnecessary stress from abrupt changes.

Flow

Use strong, random, turbulent flow that reaches the branches from changing directions. Avoid low-flow or stagnant areas where detritus can settle.

Placement

Place it in middle to upper reef areas after acclimation. Secure the frag firmly and allow time to adjust before making further placement changes.

Temperament

It is generally peaceful, but leave room for future growth and avoid crowding nearby corals. Plan spacing so branches have adequate water movement as the colony develops.

Feeding

Strong lighting provides primary support. Fine coral foods may be offered optionally when appropriate for the established reef system.

General Care

Maintain highly stable alkalinity, salinity, temperature, nutrients, and lighting. Avoid rapid parameter corrections, monitor the coral’s response after changes, and make adjustments gradually in this advanced-care SPS system.

Best maintained in a stable, mature reef with consistent high-energy conditions.
