Quick Care Summary

• Lighting: Low to moderate lighting
• Flow: Low, indirect flow
• Placement: Lower reef areas or protected rockwork
• Temperament: Generally peaceful but can spread
• Care Level: Beginner to Moderate

Lighting

Use low to moderate lighting. Acclimate gradually to any increase in intensity, as abrupt lighting changes can stress the coral.

Flow

Provide low, indirect flow. Avoid strong direct current, which can keep the disc from expanding normally.

Placement

Place it in lower reef areas or protected rockwork. Start in a sheltered location and adjust only after observing consistent disc expansion.

Temperament

Keep reasonable space from nearby corals. It is generally peaceful, but mushroom corals can spread and may gradually claim available rockwork.

Feeding

Feeding is usually optional. Occasional small foods may be accepted, but stable conditions and appropriate placement remain the priority.

General Care

Maintain stable aquarium conditions and observe the disc’s expansion after changes to light, flow, or placement. Make adjustments gradually, avoid direct flow, and leave room around the coral for potential spreading.

Give this mushroom coral a protected spot and time to settle.
