Quick Care Summary

• Lighting: Low to moderate lighting
• Flow: Low to moderate indirect flow
• Placement: Lower rock crevice or sand-and-rock edge
• Temperament: Semi-aggressive and capable of moving
• Care Level: Beginner to Moderate

Lighting

Provide low to moderate lighting. Start with gentler exposure after introduction, then observe its response before making changes.

Flow

Use low to moderate indirect flow. Avoid strong direct flow, which can prevent the anemone from settling comfortably.

Placement

Place it in a lower rock crevice or at a sand-and-rock edge. Allow time for it to secure its foot, and avoid disturbing it while it attaches.

Temperament

Give it space from nearby corals and other sessile neighbors. It is semi-aggressive, capable of moving, and may change position after introduction.

Feeding

Feeding is optional. Occasional small meaty foods can be offered, but avoid overfeeding and remove any uneaten food.

General Care

Maintain stable salinity and temperature, and protect the foot from damage during placement or maintenance. Expect it to move while choosing a suitable location, then monitor its attachment, position, and response to light and flow.

Give it time to settle before adjusting placement, lighting, or flow.
