Quick Care Summary

• Lighting: Low to moderate lighting
• Flow: Low to moderate indirect flow
• Placement: Lower rock crevice or sand-and-rock edge
• Temperament: Semi-aggressive and capable of moving
• Care Level: Beginner to Moderate

Lighting

Use low to moderate lighting. Introduce it gradually to the intended light level and watch its response before making changes.

Flow

Provide low to moderate indirect flow. Avoid strong direct flow, which can prevent the anemone from settling comfortably.

Placement

Place it in a lower rock crevice or along a sand-and-rock edge. Allow time for it to secure its foot, and avoid disturbing it while it attaches.

Temperament

Give it space from nearby corals and other anemones. It is semi-aggressive, can move after introduction, and may contact neighbors as it settles.

Feeding

Feeding is optional. An occasional small meaty offering can be provided, but stable conditions and secure placement remain the priority.

General Care

Maintain stable salinity and temperature, and protect the foot from damage during placement or maintenance. Expect it to move if conditions or its preferred location change, then allow it time to settle without repeated handling.

Choose a protected location and let it establish at its own pace.
