Quick Care Summary

• Lighting: Low to moderate lighting
• Flow: Low, indirect flow
• Placement: Lower reef areas or protected rockwork
• Temperament: Generally peaceful but can spread
• Care Level: Beginner to Moderate

Lighting

Provide low to moderate lighting. Acclimate gradually to brighter conditions, since abrupt lighting increases can stress this mushroom-type soft coral.

Flow

Use low, indirect flow. Gentle movement helps keep the coral comfortable without preventing its disc from expanding normally.

Placement

Place it in lower reef areas or protected rockwork. Start in a sheltered location and adjust only after observing normal disc expansion.

Temperament

Give it room to spread over time. It is generally peaceful, but nearby corals should have space to avoid crowding as it establishes.

Feeding

Feeding is usually optional. Occasional small foods may be accepted, but stable conditions and suitable placement remain the priority.

General Care

Maintain stable aquarium conditions and watch its response after placement or lighting changes. Avoid direct flow and sudden increases in light, and use disc expansion as a practical indicator that its location is working.

Allow time for acclimation before making placement or flow adjustments.
