Quick Care Summary

• Lighting: Low to moderate lighting
• Flow: Moderate indirect flow
• Placement: Lower to middle reef areas
• Temperament: Allow space from neighboring corals
• Care Level: Moderate

Lighting

Provide low to moderate lighting. Begin conservatively and adjust placement gradually while watching the coral’s response to avoid unnecessary light stress.

Flow

Use moderate indirect flow. Water movement should keep the area gently refreshed without directing aggressive flow across fleshy tissue.

Placement

Place it in lower to middle reef areas. Acclimate gradually to its final location, especially when moving it into brighter lighting.

Temperament

Leave conservative space between this coral and neighboring corals. Exact aggression can vary by coral group, so spacing helps limit contact and potential stinging issues.

Feeding

Offer occasional appropriately sized coral food if desired. Feeding is optional and should be kept measured to suit the aquarium’s overall nutrient balance.

General Care

Maintain stable reef conditions and observe the coral regularly after placement. Avoid abrupt changes in lighting or flow, keep aggressive current off fleshy tissue, and make adjustments gradually when its response indicates a need.

A deliberate placement and steady care routine support long-term success.
