Quick Care Summary

• Lighting: Low to moderate lighting
• Flow: Low to moderate varied flow
• Placement: Lower to middle reef areas
• Temperament: Generally peaceful but can spread
• Care Level: Beginner to Moderate

Lighting

Use low to moderate lighting. Acclimate lighting gradually and observe polyp response before moving the coral into brighter conditions.

Flow

Provide low to moderate, varied flow. Gentle changing movement helps keep the colony clear without subjecting it to a constant direct blast.

Placement

Place it in lower to middle reef areas. Start with a secure position and adjust gradually only after it has settled into the aquarium.

Temperament

Keep it with generally peaceful neighbors and allow room for it to spread over time. Plan its location so expansion can be managed without crowding nearby corals.

Feeding

Feeding is usually optional. Some colonies may accept fine foods, but stable reef conditions remain the primary focus.

General Care

Maintain stable reef conditions and make changes gradually. Watch for normal opening and overall appearance as it acclimates. Handle zoanthids carefully, using appropriate eye and skin protection whenever moving or working around the coral.

A practical soft coral choice for a thoughtfully planned reef layout.
