Quick Care Summary

• Lighting: Low to moderate lighting
• Flow: Low, indirect flow
• Placement: Lower reef areas or protected rockwork
• Temperament: Generally peaceful but can spread
• Care Level: Beginner to Moderate

Lighting

Provide low to moderate lighting. Acclimate gradually, especially when moving it into brighter conditions, and avoid abrupt lighting increases.

Flow

Use low, indirect flow. Direct or forceful water movement can keep the disc from expanding normally.

Placement

Place it in lower reef areas or protected rockwork. Give the coral time to settle and adjust before changing its position or lighting.

Temperament

Expect generally peaceful behavior, but leave room for spreading. Monitor nearby corals and provide space so expansion does not create unwanted contact.

Feeding

Feeding is usually optional. It may accept occasional small foods, but stable conditions and appropriate placement remain the priority.

General Care

Maintain stable reef conditions and observe disc expansion as it adjusts. Avoid sudden changes in lighting or flow, and reposition only if the coral is not opening normally in its chosen location.

Start gently, observe its response, and adjust placement gradually if needed.
