Quick Care Summary

• Lighting: Low to moderate lighting
• Flow: Low, indirect flow
• Placement: Lower reef areas or protected rockwork
• Temperament: Generally peaceful but can spread
• Care Level: Beginner to Moderate

Lighting

Provide low to moderate lighting. Acclimate gradually and avoid abrupt increases, which can limit normal disc expansion.

Flow

Use low, indirect flow. Direct or strong flow can keep the disc from expanding normally, so choose a calm area with gentle movement.

Placement

Place it in lower reef areas or protected rockwork. Start in a sheltered location and adjust slowly only if needed after observing expansion.

Temperament

It is generally peaceful, but allow room for it to spread over time. Avoid crowding neighboring corals and monitor nearby placement as it settles.

Feeding

Feeding is usually optional. It may accept occasional small foods, but stable conditions and appropriate placement remain the priority.

General Care

Maintain stable reef conditions and observe the disc regularly for normal expansion. Make changes gradually, especially when adjusting light or placement, and redirect flow if the coral remains tightly contracted from direct water movement.

Give it gentle flow, gradual acclimation, and room to settle.
