Rocket Man Acropora Coral

Rocket Man Acropora Coral - Care Requirements

Rocket Man Acropora Coral is an Acropora small-polyp stony coral for advanced reef aquariums. This WYSIWYG Acropora coral suits reef keepers prepared to provide the strong lighting, energetic water movement, and consistent conditions associated with SPS coral care.

This is a WYSIWYG coral, meaning the coral shown in the photo is the exact piece you will receive.

Quick Care Summary

• Lighting: Strong reef lighting
• Flow: Strong, random and turbulent flow
• Placement: Middle to upper reef areas after acclimation
• Temperament: Generally peaceful but space for growth
• Care Level: Advanced

Lighting

Provide strong reef lighting. Acclimate gradually to avoid sudden changes in intensity, then maintain consistent lighting as the coral settles into its chosen position.

Flow

Use strong, random, turbulent flow. Varied movement helps keep water circulating around the coral while avoiding stagnant areas within the reef structure.

Placement

Place it in middle to upper reef areas after acclimation. Secure the frag firmly and allow room to adjust before making further placement changes.

Temperament

Keep reasonable space for growth. Acropora is generally peaceful, but surrounding corals should not crowd it as branches develop and reef space becomes more limited.

Feeding

Rely primarily on lighting for support. Fine coral foods can be offered optionally as part of an established reef-feeding routine.

General Care

Maintain highly stable alkalinity, salinity, temperature, nutrients, and lighting. Avoid rapid parameter corrections, and observe the coral closely after acclimation or any system adjustment. Advanced SPS care depends on consistency rather than frequent changes.

Best suited to stable, established reef systems with attentive SPS care.
