Rainbow Fusion Acropora Coral

Rainbow Fusion Acropora Coral - Care Requirements

Rainbow Fusion Acropora Coral is an Acropora small-polyp stony coral with advanced care requirements. This WYSIWYG Acro is suited to established reef systems built around consistent conditions, strong lighting, and active circulation. Its care profile calls for deliberate acclimation and close attention to stability rather than rapid adjustments.

This is a WYSIWYG coral, meaning the coral shown in the photo is the exact piece you will receive.

Quick Care Summary

• Lighting: Strong reef lighting
• Flow: Strong, random and turbulent flow
• Placement: Middle to upper reef areas after acclimation
• Temperament: Generally peaceful but space for growth
• Care Level: Advanced

Lighting

Provide strong reef lighting after a gradual acclimation period. Introduce the coral carefully to higher intensity so it can adjust without sudden changes in exposure.

Flow

Use strong, random, turbulent water movement. Varied circulation helps keep the coral clear of settled debris and avoids the stagnant conditions unsuitable for Acropora.

Placement

Place it in middle to upper reef areas once acclimated. Secure the frag firmly and choose a position that receives both strong light and broad, changing flow.

Temperament

Allow space for growth despite its generally peaceful temperament. Plan the surrounding rockwork so nearby corals do not crowd it as the Acropora develops.

Feeding

Light provides primary support. Fine coral foods may be offered as an optional supplement, while maintaining stable overall reef conditions.

General Care

Maintain highly stable alkalinity, salinity, temperature, nutrients, and lighting. Avoid rapid parameter corrections, keep circulation consistent, and observe the coral closely as it acclimates to its permanent position in an established system.

Best maintained in a stable, mature reef with attentive husbandry.
