Quick Care Summary

• Lighting: Low to moderate lighting
• Flow: Moderate indirect flow
• Placement: Lower to middle reef areas
• Temperament: Aggressive
• Care Level: Moderate

Lighting

Provide low to moderate lighting. Start with a gentler position and acclimate gradually to avoid abrupt changes in light intensity.

Flow

Use moderate indirect flow that keeps the coral clear without blasting its tissue. Avoid strong direct flow.

Placement

Place it in lower to middle reef areas. Allow time to adjust after placement rather than frequently moving it or changing intensity.

Temperament

Give this aggressive coral generous space from neighbors. Nighttime sweeper or feeding tentacles can extend beyond the colony and may sting nearby corals.

Feeding

Offer occasional small meaty foods if desired. Feeding is optional, but target feeding may be done when feeding tentacles are visible.

General Care

Maintain stable aquarium conditions and make changes gradually. Observe tissue response, extension, and nearby coral spacing, especially after acclimation or adjustments to lighting and flow.

Steady care and thoughtful spacing support long-term placement in a mixed reef.
