Quick Care Summary

• Lighting: Low to moderate lighting
• Flow: Low to moderate varied flow
• Placement: Lower to middle reef areas
• Temperament: Peaceful but capable of spreading
• Care Level: Beginner to Moderate

Lighting

Provide low to moderate lighting. Start under gentler light during acclimation, then adjust placement gradually while watching for consistent polyp extension.

Flow

Use low to moderate varied flow. Gentle movement helps the polyps move naturally, while harsh direct flow can keep them retracted.

Placement

Place it in lower to middle reef areas. Allow time to acclimate after introduction, and secure the frag where its spreading growth can be managed.

Temperament

This coral is peaceful, but it can spread across nearby rockwork. Leave room around the frag and monitor its growth so it does not overtake neighboring corals.

Feeding

Feeding is usually optional. Fine suspended foods may be accepted, but stable reef conditions remain the main priority.

General Care

Maintain stable reef conditions and avoid abrupt changes in lighting, flow, or placement. Observe polyp extension and spreading growth regularly, especially after acclimation or any aquarium maintenance, and avoid harsh direct flow.

Give it room to spread and adjust conditions gradually.
