DOA Policies

  • If any items are Dead on Arrival or badly damaged, you must inform us by email: Manager@riptideaquaculture.com
  • In the unlikely event that there is a DOA (Dead on Arrival), we will need a clear photo of the frag in question inside original packaging within 1 hours of the time of arrival or delivery on the time stamp in the tracking number.
  • We are not responsible for weather delays or carrier mistakes. Shipping costs will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  • If the shipment comes UPS or Fedex, you must be there to sign for it on first delivery attempt.
  • There are no refunds for DOA corals. In store credit only.
  • There is no credit or refund on shipping.
  • By ordering from our site, you are agreeing that you are familiar with the proper way to care for a new coral including but not limited to: acclimation, light acclimation, salinity, temp., ph. Ect. No refunds will be given if we feel the coral was improperly handled, or placed into an unstable environment.
  • Chargebacks for any amount of the shipment and the shipping charges without contacting Riptide aquaculture LLC first is illegal, and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
  • Please Note: All livestock will require an “Direct Signature” for delivery. This means someone from your home must sign for the delivery. Packages WILL NOT be left on a doorstep without a signature. For packages that are signed for by a neighbor, the standard DOA policy will be void.
  • Special orders or “cut-to-order” frags will require an average of 2-weeks healing prior to shipment to ensure a healthy specimen.
