Lighting: Moderate. They are adaptable but tend to do best under moderate lighting conditions.
Water Flow: Moderate. They prefer moderate water movement, which facilitates feeding and removal of waste.
Water Parameters: Typical marine conditions are required, with salinity at approximately 1.025 specific gravity, pH levels of 8.1 to 8.4, and temperature range between 76Ā°F to 80Ā°F.
Dietary Needs: Leptastrea corals are photosynthetic and receive a significant portion of their nutritional needs from the zooxanthellae within their tissues. However, they also benefit from direct feedings.
