Water Flow: Moderate. A moderate flow is beneficial for Leptoseris, as it can assist in feeding and prevent sediment from settling on them.
Water Parameters: Stability is key. Keep the specific gravity at 1.025, pH between 8.1-8.4, and temperatures stable around 76Ā°F to 80Ā°F.
Dietary Needs: Leptoseris corals have symbiotic algae called zooxanthellae that aid in their nutrition through photosynthesis, but they may also capture plankton from the water column.
Recommended Foods: Not typically necessary, but they can benefit from fine particulate foods or planktonic suspensions if targeted feeding is desired.
